As part of African History Month, we are proud to support the Africa Festival of Arts and Culture Society (AFACS) in recognizing the significance of events as a vehicle for celebrating inclusion and diversity. AFACS is organizing various cultural events to mark African History Month and to kick off the first week, guests will be treated to a cultural showcase and presentation.

Special artists performing include: Master Drummer Amadou Kienou and the Djeli Sira group (both from Burkina Faso), Root Drum and Dance of Halifax, Advocates of Truth, and Maritime Centre for African Dance.
